Fewer Posts Going Forward

May 7, 2014

Today I’m simply popping in to alert everyone that from now on I will be posting once a week instead of twice. I enjoy posting Wednesday and Saturday, and it’s doable for me, but I have decided I’d much rather post once a week and devote more time to ensuring that each post is polished, high-quality, and edifying. I also have lots to do around the home and in my fiction-writing, too, and I’ve noticed that many people seem too busy to read on the weekends, or can’t keep up with following the blog as they’d like to because I post so frequently.

From now on I will be posting Thursdays only – starting tomorrow, if I get my act together!

Love,
Bethany

  1. A good post can take me hours, especially adding pictures and things. Once a week is PLENTY for me when I want to write other things too 🙂

On a side note, did you know that your ‘comments’ are limited to one comment and then your reply? At least from my WordPress App. I can never reply to your reply. You can change this in settings, allowing a certain about per comment. However, you may have a reason for limiting it, which is cool too. Just thought I’d mention it 🙂

    • I had no idea about that! So only one response can be made per comment? I guess I need to check my settings.

    • I don’t see an option to change anything! I see a “nested comments” feature, and I’ve allowed that…

      • That may be it. Did it allow you to choose how many nested comments to allow? Seems I remember having that option. I just tried to reply to your last comment on my WordPress App and it wouldn’t go through. Let’s see if this works….

  2. Maybe it’s a glitch in the App, which wouldn’t be something you can fix, I guess…. 🙂

    • It must be a glitch in the app. I think nesting comments means when someone replies to a reply to a reply to a reply to a reply of an original comment, and I’ve always allowed those up to 5 deep. 🙂

      • Yes. Somehow though, I can reply to other’s reply to my comment with the App. Who knows…technology makes me tired! Always something more to figure out!

I love to hear your thoughts!
